Safety
With our Namibian suppliers being a member of the NCA (Namibian Charcoal Association) or CAN (Charcoal Association of Namibia) certain standards have to be met which include the correct training of the charcoal & wood producing members regarding the handling of chainsaws, burning of charcoal, harvesting techniques & health and safety procedures.
Environment & Sustainability
With a focus on a healthier, sustainable future, we deliver natural products harvested from encroacher bush using eco-friendly methods and complying with FSC standards. As the harvesting of encroacher bush is expected to rise, the Namibian government supports regulated thinning to boost grass growth in African rangelands, leading to increased animal productivity and greater underground water supply for indigenous trees.
